History of the Haulin’ for the Holidays Fundraiser

The idea for the Haulin’ for the Holidays is credited to Troy Dickens, general manager at Rush Enterprises. Response to his initial suggestion was swift and enthusiastic. The foundation of generosity laid by long-time members of the Tennessee Trucking Association and others in the industry is a legacy the younger members of the TTA want to foster.

Young Professionals Council members have a passion for trucking and a passion for giving. Having a council dedicated to younger members of the industry allows them to meet like-minded people and focus their collective passion.  Even though deliveries happen in December, donations are accepted all year long.

Become An Angel Sponsor for Haulin’ for the Holidays

The elves from the Young Professionals Council of the TTA have already been hard at work for the annual  Haulin’ For Holidays!

We partner with several non–profit organizations across the state of TN to provide toys and clothing to children whose Christmas morning would otherwise not be as bright.  The Trucking community is a VERY generous community and we would be honored if your company would consider being an “Angel Sponsor” as we try to raise funds to purchase all the toys according to each nonprofit’s needs!

Corporate and/or  Personal “Angel Sponsorships” suggestions are $2,500 and $5,000 this year.  Can we count on your company to join us?

Haulin’ for the Holidays is a state-wide initiative by the Tennessee Trucking Foundation and the Young Professional Council to partner with TTA members and local charities to make holidays brighter for Tennessee children, teens, and families. We’re thrilled to be partnering with a wide range of local organizations and charities to make a real difference for Tennessee families. Become a Corporate Angel sponsor today!
