Troy Dickens Takes the Helm as Chair of Tennessee Trucking Association

The Tennessee Trucking Association is pleased to announce Troy Dickens of Rush Truck Center – Nashville as its Chair of the Board of Directors. He assumed the chairmanship during the Association’s Annual Convention in Destin, Florida, beginning a two-year term of leadership.

Dickens brings years of service, leadership, and commitment to the Tennessee trucking industry and the communities it serves. As an allied member of the Tennessee Trucking Association, he has served for many years on the Tennessee Trucking Foundation Board of Directors and the Tennessee Trucking Association Executive Committee.

In addition to his service to the Association, he has been a longtime leader of Middle Tennessee Big Rigs for Little Kids, serving as Chair for many years. Through the event, he has helped bring the trucking industry together to raise funds and awareness in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville, helping demonstrate the industry's commitment to giving back to families and communities.

Dickens' appointment also highlights the important role allied members play in Tennessee's trucking industry. While only a select number of allied members have previously served as Chair of the Association, and Dickens has demonstrated his commitment to the industry through years of active service, leadership, advocacy, and community involvement.

As Chair, Dickens will lead the Association's Board of Directors and work alongside members and staff to advance the Association's priorities, advocate for the trucking industry, promote safety and professionalism, and strengthen relationships with policymakers and other key stakeholders.

His two-year term began at the Association's Annual Convention in Destin and will provide an opportunity to build on the Association's work while bringing the perspective and experience of an allied industry leader to the Association's continued efforts on behalf of its members.
