Qualifications for Entry
- A minimum of one (1) year of employment with the current employer.
- A preventable accident-free driving record from the day after the previous TN Truck Driving Championships until the date of the current TN TDC.
- Full-time employment performing the duties of a regularly employed truck driver with a TTA member company. (Hostlers, casual drivers, and persons whose driving is a secondary responsibility to other duties are not qualified.)
- Companies will be limited to three (3) drivers per class, per terminal.
- PLEASE ENCOURAGE your drivers to study for the written portion of the competition. All questions are sourced from the 2026 ATA Fast Facts for Drivers book, which is available for purchase soon. Contact Marty Pollock (MPollock@tntrucking.org) to buy a book.Eligibility Update: 2026 NTDC / NSVDC, drivers in a non-preventable accident are now eligible to compete. The description of what is permitted and the process in which accident eligibility should be reviewed here along with submitting the "Eligibility Request Form.
