The Countdown is on for the Tennessee Trucking Association's

Truck Driving Championships! Join us on May 1-2, 2026

We are excited to announce the upcoming Tennessee Truck Driving Championships on May 1-2, 2026. This event is for TTA member drivers! This competition allows drivers to demonstrate their industry knowledge, driving skills, and professional competence for a chance to compete in the American Trucking Association’s National Truck Driving Championships.

Register for the Truck Driving Championships | May 1-2, 2026

Drivers must be registered to compete in the Tennessee Truck Driving Championships. Registration includes access to all required competition activities and one ticket to the Awards Banquet.

Please review the registration fees, event locations, and all competition rules and regulations before submitting your entry. All required forms, documentation, and payment must be received by the deadline to be eligible to compete.

$225.00 entry fee includes one (1) Awards Banquet ticket.

Additional Banquet Tickets
$80.00 per ticket. Additional banquet tickets may be purchased on the registration page.

How to Complete Your Entry

Download the entry forms, complete all required documentation, and submit your documents using the payment options below.

    • Fill out the Driver Entry & Release Form (Answer all questions or mark “N/A” where applicable)

    • Sign all required sections

    • Prepare your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Registration Option 1: Online Submission

  • Enter your name and email on the registration page

  • Upload all required documents for each participant

  • Pay with a card or select the option to request an invoice

Qualifications for Entry

  • A minimum of one (1) year of employment with the current employer.
  • A preventable accident-free driving record from the day after the previous TN Truck Driving Championships until the date of the current TN TDC.
  • Full-time employment performing the duties of a regularly employed truck driver with a TTA member company. (Hostlers, casual drivers, and persons whose driving is a secondary responsibility to other duties are not qualified.)
  • Companies will be limited to three (3) drivers per class, per terminal.
  • PLEASE ENCOURAGE your drivers to study for the written portion of the competition. All questions are sourced from the 2026 ATA Fast Facts for Drivers book, which is available for purchase soon. Contact Marty Pollock (MPollock@tntrucking.org) to buy a book.Eligibility Update: 2026 NTDC / NSVDC, drivers in a non-preventable accident are now eligible to compete. The description of what is permitted and the process in which accident eligibility should be reviewed here along with submitting the "Eligibility Request Form.

Truck Driver of the Year Nominations Now Open

This honor is open to all drivers affiliated with TTA Member Companies who demonstrate exceptional professionalism and maintain an outstanding safety record.

  • Recognition at the Tennessee Truck Driving Championships banquet
  • Opportunity to compete for the national ATA Driver of the Year Award
