TTA Sporting Clay Shoots bring Tennessee’s trucking and transportation community together for friendly competition, industry connection and a great day on the course. Events have been hosted in Middle and West Tennessee.

A Strong TTA Tradition

A day built for every experience level

No shooting experience is necessary. Safety officers are available throughout the event, and the recent registration package has included the equipment and protection needed to participate.

First-Time Friendly

New shooters receive a safety briefing and can ask course staff for guidance before and during the shoot.

Equipment Included

Recent registration has covered ammunition, gun rental, targets, eye and ear protection, and lunch.

Industry Connection

Teams and individual participants spend the morning alongside TTA members, sponsors and transportation professionals.

What to Expect

A complete morning on the course

The final 2027 schedule will be announced with registration. A recent TTA Sporting Clay Shoot followed this event flow:

  • Arrival and Optional Long Bird Check in, connect with other participants and take part in the optional early activity.
  • Safety Briefing Course staff review safe handling and what participants should expect at each station.
  • Sporting Clay Course Teams rotate through the course and compete across the scheduled target stations.
  • Lunch and Awards The event concludes with lunch, individual awards and recognition of the top team.

These amounts are provided as a planning reference. Final 2027 pricing and inclusions will be published when registration opens.

Individual Shooter $195

Recent rate for one participant, including equipment, targets, protection and lunch.

Team of Four $780

Recent team rate for four registered shooters participating together.

Optional Long Bird $10

Recent add-on rate for five shots. Participants provided or purchased their own ammunition.
