The Fall Conference was a resounding success, filled with valuable insights, engaging sessions, and memorable networking opportunities. We kicked off on Wednesday with a friendly bowling event, giving attendees an early chance to connect and set the tone for the days ahead.

Thursday began with a warm welcome, self-introductions, and opening remarks from Mike McFarlin of M & W Logistics Group. Our keynote speaker, Mike Lutzenkirchen from Lutzie43, delivered a deeply inspiring message grounded in safety and responsibility. Mike’s commitment to his work comes from a place of profound personal loss: his son, Philip Lutzenkirchen, was a celebrated Auburn University football player who tragically lost his life in a car accident. Now, through Lutzie43, Mike speaks to audiences nationwide, honoring Philip's legacy by promoting safe driving and educating young people on the importance of making positive choices.

From there, sessions covered crucial industry topics, including a truck parking discussion led by Road Team Captains Tim Chelette of Big G Express and Cardell Benfield of Titan Transfer, Inc. Joe Phillips from SmartDrive shared effective coaching techniques, and Shannon Millsaps from Thrive provided insights on advancing Freight Alley through collaboration.

Thursday’s conference continued with important presentations by Ricardo Fuentes from Amazon on cargo theft prevention, and Jeremy Reymer’s Project 61 session on CDL driver health and longevity. Jeff Short from ATRI explored key industry issues, followed by Troy Dickens from Rush Truck Center discussing the upcoming 2027 emissions standards. The day concluded with a banquet, where participants enjoyed an evening of networking, karaoke and celebration.

Friday’s agenda featured more informative sessions, including Jamie Wilson from RLI Transportation on loss control, Jacqueline Gelb from ATRI on greenhouse gas and electric vehicle trends, and Trp. Chad Staggs of THP sharing updates on roadside stats and inspections. Stephanie Mann from the FMCSA wrapped up the day with key regulatory updates, and the conference concluded with the closing door prize drawing.
