Founded in 1930 as the Tennessee Motor Truck Association, TTA was forged out of the belief that a strong, unified industry would be essential in remaining effective and profitable in the future. Tennessee is one of the oldest state trucking associations in the nation. In 1998, the Tennessee Trucking Association, purchased the current headquarters strategically located close to 1-24, 1-65, I-440 and just minutes from downtown Nashville and the State Capital.
The Tennessee Trucking Association is an affiliate of the American Trucking Associations.
